Roger Waters är väldigt känd från sin tid i Pink Floyd där han spelade bas, sjöng och även komponerade flera låtar. Gruppen bestod av Roger Waters, Syd Barnett, Nick Mason och Richard Wright och var aktiva mellan 1965 och 1985, innan bandet splittrades. Genom åren har gruppen släppt flera album som bland annat ”The Dark Side of the Moon” där låten ”Money” blev gruppens fösta topp-20-hit på den amerikanska billboardlistan.

Efter gruppens uppbrott satsade Roger Waters på en solokarriär. Han har bland annat släppt flera album, skrivit soundtracket till filmen ”When the wind blows” och en opera om den franska revolutionen. Under tiden har han samarbetat med flera kända musiker som Eric Clapton och David Sanborn. Under Roger Waters turné 2017-2018 får vi höra ett riktigt mästerverk med en blandnin av nytt material, låtar från solokarriären och flera Pink Floyd-klassiker.
